⭐️⭐️⭐️ Michelin · My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
If you have $2k laying around to blow, there could be worse ways to do it. However, having eaten at numerous Michelin starred restaurants, I was really underwhelmed considering this has 3 stars and I expected considerably more.
The Good: most of the dishes were fantastic. However, I said most- two in particular were sorely underwhelming- the Blue Lobster & The Scallops dishes. The Wagyu dish was also undercooked to my request.
The Bad: The service. While overall we felt welcome and engaged, there were a number of slip ups:
1. The Sommelier suggested just buying a bottle since it would be easier than pairing wine with my dishes- easier for who? I disagreed with that idea and she did a great job overall when I asked her to pair anyway- but why is that the go to move?
2. At times our table was dirty and unattended. That’s not fine dining.
3. Lastly, it took us 30 minutes to get the bill at the end. We literally sat there with nothing to do- I was rather stunned it was that bad.
So overall decent food but they really need to correct the service aspect. With so many options available, I don’t think we’ll return.
